I highly recommend Hudson Automotive. I was referred to them and wasn't disappointed. Replacing the engine on my 2014 Acura MDX was a massive job and a tough financial decision to make. However, their fair and decent pricing made it worthwhile.
They replaced the engine in a timely manner and even serviced my transmission. I was given a nice, newer courtesy car, so I wasn't inconvenienced. A huge thanks to the service advisors, Lucas and Ian, for making a stressful situation incredibly smooth. I’d recommend anyone take their vehicle here.

We just had such a great experience at Hudson automotive. My son brought his 1999 Ford Ranger in for servicing, as it previously belonged to my late father and the vehicle had sat for a while and although my son has been driving it, it really hadn’t had work done on it for a bit. I spoke to Lukas before making an appointment and gave him a rundown of what we were looking for. Lukas got us in promptly. They did the full inspection and provided a very informative diagnostic report, and we chose to get worked done based on the report and urgency and budget. No pressure and very informative. Their communication was great, and the process was easy. We have a list of the remaining things that we need to get done and the cost so that we can plan for that in the future. I really appreciate Lukas listening and appreciating the sentimental value of my son’s vehicle by putting it in the garage overnight for safety. On a side note: we chose Hudson Automotive because my Dad had a 1938 Hudson, so I just seemed fitting to have his truck (that my son now owns) serviced here. We will definitely be back for the other work! Thank you.

Just want to share my experience with Hudson. Second time now to have taken my car in. It’s an old car and Lucas gave me the honest truth about having the old girl fixed this time. Not worth the amount of dollars it would cost and suggested I look for a newer car. Thank you to Hudson for your honest opinion and will definitely bring my newer car in for an inspection. Service is number 1 and they make sure you get a ride home. Thanks again.

Had an oil change done. They are knowledgeable and give a detailed report straight to your phone! I was offered a shuttle back to the shop to pick up my car. The shuttle driver was friendly!

I brought my car to get looked at after the check engine light came on. The staff at Hudson had a good look at my car and came back with their honest recommendation. They quoted me a fair price (and stuck to it) fixed it in a timely manner and even washed and vacuumed it for me. I am really grateful for the hard work and amazing service I received at Hudson! We had a friend “fix” our minivan which resulted in him breaking our break lines and calliper to which my wife pulled over and got help at Hudson Auto, I was extremely pleased throughout the entire process of speaking and dealing with Lukas. Lukas was extremely professional, positive, and empathetic throughout the entire process. I am extremely grateful that my wife pulled over and found Hudson Auto, we will be using them for all of our next repairs. They provide a great service and are also very efficient and most importantly give quality work that also includes 2 years warranty on their work and parts. We are very appreciative of Hudson's service. We were returning home to Vancouver Island after a road trip and our vehicle (which had begun acting up after some recent work) broke down on our way to the ferry. Our mechanic at home was unhelpful and we were looking into very expensive tows on the ferry and/or hotel rooms. Hudson fit us in same day, quickly diagnosed the problem and sent us on our way. This meant so much more to us than just a running vehicle. Instead of leaving our mechanic at home a well deserved scathing review, I figured I'd take a moment to show appreciation for the GOOD out there as well. Thank you!

Today I want to write a review for Hudson Automotive!! The best place I could have found! I especially want to thank Lukas Stevens, who helped me directly. I arrived with my baby, worried about the noises my car was making, and after explaining the work a "mechanic friend" had done, he put me at ease. They took my minivan (a 2000 Mazda), a somewhat older car, and took care of inspecting it, gave us a quote, and now my car runs perfectly and doesn't make any noise. All the staff were 100% professional, kind, and friendly, even with my baby. Thank you so much to everyone who was involved in repairing my car, and especially to Lukas for his excellent work! My family and I will definitely keep Hudson as our go-to mechanic!! Thank you!!

It has been many years now that I have been going to Hudson Automotive for all my car servicing and I still must say that they are fantastic! Their staff is so polite and pays attentions to what you are saying and they truly care about their customers.
I tell all my family and friends about their honest customer service.
They complete a routine check and then they will send you a written service assessment. These range from green to red. Red of course is the recommendation to complete asap.

Genuinely great bunch of guys, travelled 5 hours to get a truck. Truck had some issues to say the least. Got genuine suggestions that took into account for everything. They ended up fixing my truck on the day and sorting me out big time. Can’t recommend them enough. Would drive 3 hours to get my truck serviced by them.
