AirCare Emissions Program
Certified Repair Centre
AirCare is a mandatory vehicle emissions inspection and testing program for the Vancouver, BC and Fraser Valley area. The program helps reduce vehicle emissions of smog-causing pollutants by requiring vehicles to undergo an emissions test to identify emissions problems and have them repaired.

Designated Inspection Facility
The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) is a provincial Crown corporation established in 1973 to provide universal auto insurance to B.C. motorists. ICBC is also responsible for driver licensing, and vehicle licensing and registration. Vehicles that are to be inspected must have the inspections performed at an ICBC Designated Inspection Facility. Vehicles are inspected to ensure they meet B.C.’s requirements for safety, mechanical condition and road worthiness.
