About Our Team

The backbone of our operation.

We feel that the most important asset of our business is our employees and their ability to satisfy our customers’ automotive service and repair needs. We work hard to provide an enjoyable working atmosphere and pay our Technicians fair wages. We want their number one focus to be on fixing our customers’ vehicles, taking the time that is needed to do the job right, the first time.

In addition, our knowledgeable and friendly service advisors are always ready and quick to help our customers. It is a team effort, and we appreciate the contribution made by each member of our staff.

Darcy Dewsbury is an Ontario native who has been in B.C. since the age of 13. He has been with Hudson Auto Care since 1999 and is the Service Manager. The position was a natural fit with his always cool and calm personality. “I have a great sense of satisfaction helping our customers with their service and repair needs,” says Darcy. Away from the repair centre, Darcy plays in a baseball league, enjoys golf, participating in triathlons, and enjoying time with his daughter.

Brian Hodgson is a former Snap-on Tool Dealer and Field Manager which took him to Saskatchewan in the 1990’s. He is also a Red Seal Canadian Certified Technician/Mechanic, but found he much more enjoys serving customers and helping them with their vehicle’s needs. Brian joined our team in 2007 and is married with two daughters, and enjoys golfing, landscaping and cheering on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

Andy Hudson is the brother of owner Russ Hudson and has been at the repair centre for 18 years as a licensed technician. An Air Care and diagnostic specialist, he is also the shop foreman and assists all the technicians with repairs, diagnostics and quality control. Andy has extensive automotive service training and takes great pride in his work. Living in Walnut Grove, married with four children, Andy enjoys a very busy family life full of activities, he also coaches minor hockey.

Louie Tolnay is the head technician at Hudson Auto Care. A highly trained and incredibly talented technician, Louie is our Diesel and Air Care repair specialist. A lifelong Lower Mainland area resident, now living in Langley, he has two children, is an avid soccer dad and coach; and enjoys camping in the family RV.

Howard “Howie” Lewis is a former shop owner in Surrey with more than 30 years experience in automotive repair as a technician. Howie is our “handyman” and can fix just about anything! He has received extensive training in all vehicle systems. Born in White Rock, and now lives in Cloverdale, Howie is married with two children and enjoys fishing, camping, and skiing with his family.

Connor Venema may be young, but is a highly talented and motivated apprentice technician. He is currently in his 3rd year of his apprenticeship and is a huge asset to our team. He is also one of the most “polite and helpful” young men you will see these days. Our customer’s are delighted when they get to meet him! When not at work, Connor enjoys playing soccer and cycling.

Randy Beran
Shop Maintenance / Detailing / Courtesy Shuttle Driver

Randy Beran handles shop maintenance, detailing, and the customer shuttle service at Hudson’s Langley facility. He has been at the shop for more than eight years. “Our customers like to be shuttled in our Chrysler PT Cruiser and I enjoy driving them to their destinations.”
